Cybertools
We were founded in 1997 and quickly built an exceptional reputation for innovation and precision engineering. Skills that have seen us become a major international supplier across most manufacturing sectors.
In particular, we have established a long track record supplying the food industry and medical equipment companies, so our standards of hygiene, product safety and reliability are second to none. Our facilities proudly maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certification.
Now with The SHED BOOT, we’re making a product of our own that utilises all of our expertise, to provide a premium, eco-friendly solution to prevent timber battens from rotting on garden buildings.
Origin of SHED BOOT
Roy Brown, a skilled toolmaker and mould designer, faced severe rot in the floor and lower walls of his old shed. Determined to prevent the same problem in his new one, he created a simple but clever plastic moulding that fits beneath the shed floor. When laid across the bearers before assembly, it blocks moisture from reaching the timber and keeps the floor raised so air can circulate underneath, helping the wood stay dry.
Ingenious yet simple
Inspired by its purpose — a protective and durable barrier on the bottom of a shed, much like a boot keeps feet dry — Roy named it The SHED BOOT.
